Stratton, Vermont is a great place to try your hand at any winter sport, and cross-country skiing is no exception. Several touring centers offer groomed trails that give you breathtaking tours through quiet woods and open fields.

For a special treat, visit Hidene, which offers 17 km of trails that wind through the beautiful estate of Robert Todd Lincoln, President Abraham Lincoln's son. The carriage barn doubles as a warming hut with rentals and light refreshments.
